From the Institute Interim Executive Director

What an exciting time to join the Irving Institute team! Having stepped into the role of Interim Executive Director at the start of this month, I have already had the opportunity to participate in the Institute Advisory Board's spring meeting (our first time meeting in the brand-new executive conference room!); help celebrate the official openings of the Engineering and Computer Sciences Center, Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship, AND the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society buildings; take in a number of fascinating talks, panels, and other activities during the inaugural Dartmouth Innovation and Technology Festival; and talk to so many people who are helping to shape the present and the future of the Irving Institute. Thank you all for the warm welcome.

As Executive Director of the Revers Center for Energy, Sustainability, and Innovation at Tuck, I have had many opportunities to work with the Irving Institute during its first five years, partnering on the Dartmouth Energy Collaborative seminar series, collaborating on the new TuckLAB: Energy program that will launch in fall 2022, and generally working together to help support and expand Dartmouth's energy and sustainability community. In this new role, I am excited to further activate the mission of advancing an affordable, sustainable, reliable energy future to benefit society; build deeper collaborations across the West End Innovation District; engage faculty, students, and experts alike; and learn more about your thoughts and ideas for what the Institute can accomplish in its next five years and beyond! Swing by for a tour or to say hello to the team as often as you can!
