NetID
A Dartmouth NetID is required when you register for the Admissions Ambassador Program. This will become the username you use when logging in to the Alumni Portal in Slate (our interview management tool). Your NetID is assigned to you by Dartmouth. If you do not know your NetID, click here to look it up or email the AAP for assistance.
Password
In addition to your NetID, you also need a valid password to log in to the Alumni Portal in Slate. This password is the same as the password you use to access any Dartmouth account (ie: your club or class webpage). Dartmouth has strict security measures to protect all of your information. The rules for Dartmouth passwords are outlined on Dartmouth's IT website:
- Must contain 8-32 characters
- Must contain at least one of the following special characters ! # $ % ^ * _ (do NOT use any other special characters)
- The last two characters can only be letters or numbers
- We recommend not starting the password with a special character
If you have already set up your password and security questions but can no longer remember your password, you can click here or click the "forgot password" link under the box as you are logging in.

Alumni Portal in Slate
All interview assignments are made through the Alumni Portal in Slate. Duo Push Log-in
When logging in to Slate, DEDs will be asked to sign up for Duo. Alumni interviewers do not need to use Duo. Signing up for Duo can be done quickly online. If you need help, you can find step-by-step guides on Dartmouth's website, or you can contact the Alumni Help Desk 24/7.
